Description Suggest change

Warning: This route can be dangerous due to loose rock as well as presenting a danger to climbers on popular routes below.

This route has long been the alternative when the South Face is backlogged. It climbs the path of least resistance between the Tooth Fairy and the south face.

P1-2 - climb open books that begin north of the Pineapple Pass gully, then a left facing slab.

P3 - Locate three cracks that lead to an overhang, and face climb left of these.

P4 - 4th class pitch leading up to the summit.

Location Suggest change

Take the standard approach for the Tooth, but head up north of the gully that leads to Pineapple Pass instead.

Protection Suggest change

Medium alpine rack, to 3 inches.
