Description

Solid splitter crack problem. Roughly 9 to 11 feet of crack with an easy to put. Slightly overhung crack with a flare at the bottom. Foot jams can be found by sinking into the flare but get easier as you move up. There are a few features outside the crack for feet.

The landing on this climb is two tiered. The bottom tier is relatively flat but you could roll an ankle or slip into a crevasse. The second tier can be utilized for bailing. Falling onto this tier would hurt. There are other boulders around that would make this a rough problem to fall on if you take an unusual fall. Spotters mitigate this risk.

Location

From the parking lot, follow the road left until it starts curling up to the top. Look right and you'll see a jumble of boulders between two outcrops. Back in this gully is the base of the problem.

From the pull-offs at the top, approach the rocks and head right. Look down into the crevasse for the obvious splitter crack.

Protection

2 pads and a spotter or two
