Description Suggest change

Big Mike Gully is a natural ice flow in what appears to be the largest avalanche shoot just below 10 mile Peak by Google maps. Park at Officer's garage, and walk down about a quarter mile or less until you see the huge avalanche path. The ice is just above.

I’m sure it’s been done before, as there was three pieces of tat on a huge, loose log that looks like it was dislodged by the most recent avalanche probably last year. We borrowed one of those slings and put it on a solid tree 6+ inches in diameter. The tree at the top could use a rap anchor.

Per Trent Hillier: per Pat Gephart: Brandon's Bash is actually known as Big Mike Gully and doubles as a fine ski mountaineering line.

Location Suggest change

From the Officer's Gulch parking, go left East downhill towards Frisco, and look to your right. Climb up about 700 feet or so.

Protection Suggest change

Screws. Bring rock pro if you want to do a right-facing corner, second pitch, mixed route that looks to be about M4.
