Arching to the left face climb. 7 bolts to anchor . Crux between first and second bolt but all climb is sustained

[Hide Comment] If this is the route to the right of the massive tree that now rests on Fresno Dome, then I would say definitely 5.10 I went up today with the intention of sailing up a 5.8 and cutting as many branches as I needed so that route went clean again, but was smacked down with some good hard slab. The climbing I did was fun (I bailed at the second bolt after hacking at the tree for 20 minutes) but not 5.8 at all, as Mike A’s guidebook suggests. There’s a leaver on that second bolt, (where a large branch was impending the route) I plan on going back and finishing my tree work after this coming snow so I’d appreciate it being left there. But if you really need an old beat up carabiner well then there’s one up there for ya.
