Lateral Thinking

5.12c, Sport, 50 ft (15 m),  Avg: 3.5 from 2 votes
FA: Jay Knower 2020
New Hampshire > WM: Waterville… > Yellowjacket Area > Yellowjacket Crags > Cavern Cliff Area > 3- Yellowjacket Buttress

Description

Crimp straight up to a nice left hand hold and then traverse straight to the right on a steep slab. The climbing is so deviously technical it is hard to imagine. The sequence is impossible to remember completely but it so fun! The falls are cush. The thing is a must do for a granite slab master.

Location

Start up the mutual start on the left side of the buttress and break hard right for 25 feet before going up again.

Protection

5 bolts to anchors
