Description Suggest change

A fairly obvious easy looking pinnacle behind the main Castle Waterman face. The low angle front seems like an obvious (if easy) feature to climb and is probably somewhere in the 5.2-5.6 range. The rock is a bit lose so top-roping may be a better option than leading.

It's possible to set a top rope anchor using trad gear by scrambling to the top around the back side. There are no bolts at the top, so it's necessary to down scramble after climbing it to clean your anchor.

If you know the FA or the name, let me know and I'll change it.

Location Suggest change

This rock is behind the main Castle Waterman face and accessible by going around the right side of the Castle Waterman face until it comes into view.

Protection Suggest change

Trad gear needed for anchor. It's a bit of a scramble to the the top from the backside and to be honest, the moves to get up there are probably harder than those on the face itself, though much less exposed.
