Description
Well... someone had to climb this thing! Perhaps the most striking arete at Black Mountain? I dare say so.
Climb the initial 5 feet of Traffic Jam before stepping out right to the arete. Tip-toe and balance your way up the arete to a stance. Climb up to a second stance and then cast off on an adventure of counterpressure, foot smears, toe hooks, and body tension to make it up the face/blunt arete. The actual crux may be finding a way to clip without peeling off and grabbing the draw ;)
