Description

Awesome and unique chimney climbing for Arkansas! Climb the strenuous chimney to some good feet, where it eases up past the second bolt. From here follow two more bolts and wiggle through the body sized hole to the anchors. Adventurous for a sport climb!

Location

While facing Whiff of a Dead Dog, walk into the large chimney to the right. Wiggle your way in about 15 feet or so and look for the bolts above.

Protection

4 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor. Not equipped for lowering/rappelling.

[Hide Comment] Like crack climbing, ice, etc., chimney technique is it's own genre. It's possible that this route will get a lot of dislikes by folks who don't recognize that before giving it a go. However, this is one of the best test-piece chimneys Arkansas has right now! Excited that Arkansan+ climbers now have this gem to build up their chimney 'nique! Plus it has sparse enough bolting to keep you feeling as insecure as you might on a desert tour! Sep 27, 2021

[Hide Comment] This route is amazing. Massive thank you to the developer for putting the bolts in. We met you at the top of the cliff today (3/23/24) but didn't catch your name -- this thing is so epic. It should be mandatory climbing for anyone at Sam's throne. Mar 23, 2024
