Description Suggest change

A classic of the Odyssey sector, this pitch starts on hero jugs to an obvious crux sequence to gain the single tufa system up and left that defines the belly of this pitch before it disappears and turns into a techy face 4 meters or so to the top.  The upper face climb on its own isn't so difficult but can prove to be the redpoint crux for some people.  It's an abrupt change in style from the thuggy boulder problem and physical tufa riding below.  This pitch packs a nice punch and shouldn't be missed if you like this style and climb the grade.

Location Suggest change

Polifemo is left of the 7b+ Alfredo Alfredo and right of the 8b Gaia.

Protection Suggest change

9 bolts plus the anchor. Clips 5 and 6 are quite close. An alpine draw extended from clip 6 worked fine if you want to save a draw.
