Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
Bob Kamps' classic runnout route on the far left side of Stately Pleasure Dome.
Pitch 1: Begin 20 feet right of Far West Country in the obvious streak just around the corner. Climb the streak to a bolt that is 30' up, place tiny cams in a left facing corner 50' higher, and then angle up and right to a belay station in the center of a comfortable ledge.
Pitch 2: From the ledge, traverse left and follow the path of least resistance up the indistinct corner to the low angle slabs above. (Some pro may or may not be found on this pitch depending on the line you pick.)
