For 2022: per Daniel Bryant: they did extend the order, but what I found was that the closed area does not encompass any of the common climbing areas within Elevenmile Canyon.

Description

This short but sweet route goes up the slab and over the small roof through the right crack. The slab has some challenging moves, but the crux is getting over the roof. After you get the 3rd bolt, run it out 20 feet on 5.6 to a 2 bolt anchor.

Location

This route is above the Duck Face anchor just left around the corner of The Staircase. Climb Duck Face, then look up.

Protection

3 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor. Place a #2 in the crack before the first bolt if you're worried about the ledge. After the roof, it's about 20 feet to the anchor on easier climbing (5.4).
