Access Issue: Falcon Closures Details

Seasonal Falcon Closures in effect from March 15 - July 31.

- Roughneck Area
- Wildcatter Wall

Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.

Seasonal Falcon closures in effect from March 15 - July 31. - Lion's Head (not pictured). - Roughneck Area. There are no closures at Staunton Rocks.

Access Issue: Closure Notice - 4/9/22 Details

The area will be closed 4/9/22 to fix the trail and belay pads.

Description

Start from the belay platform, climb up to the 1st bolt is easy. Move left to a dihedral. Follow it till you can join the arête. Getting past the ledge is the 1st crux. It can done 2 ways - staying on arête - very thin crimps, or right of the arête, mantle, heel hook, Continue up the short slab to an overhang, and move left on to the face. The 2nd crux is getting to the next bolt and good hold. Move around the arête to the face.
