Like many areas in the desert, the soft Dakota sandstone here is very fragile and porous, and especially so after recent rainfall - climbs could be permanently damaged or destroyed if climbed on while wet. Additionally, avoid using a wire brush to clean off lichen.
Description
Brass Monkey is a fun, engaging, natural classic! Stand start with your right hand in a 2 finger pocket and your left hand on a jug undercling. Work your way up the angling prow using the vertical rail to a dynamic move to jugs on the ledge before the lip. Hit the lip, and work slightly right for a spicy topout.
