Description

At base of the East Wall starting below the small dihedral with a single bolt above it on the face, climb the discontinuous cracks up the slab to the dihedral. Pull some strenuous and reachy moves in the dihedral to clip the bolt. Once you’ve got the bolt you can relax a little bit but the crux isn’t finished with you yet. Continue following the thin crack above the bolt up to the ledge. From the ledge move up and onto the slab following another obvious crack on your right. Take this crack until it ends, on the slab below the anchor. Run it out and slab climb your way to the anchor.

Location

The route starts down the hill to the (climbers) right of Hell and down the hill (climbers) left of Darkside, starting beneath the short dihedral and a single bolt on the face.

Protection

1 bolt, .1”-3” cams, stoppers, bolt anchor

[Hide Comment] One the best route at Wintergreen, and definitely worth doing if you’re in the area. The grade is solid and full value. I think it’s probably harder than 5.12 Comes to Wintergreen and Gription, both of which are rated harder, but don’t let that stop you from climbing it. Apr 27, 2020
