Description Suggest change

The first 5 pitches are nothing special. During pitch 2 you will see an anchor to the right (anchor for "Synewel"), keep going up instead for a few more meters. After pitch 4 the first anchor you hit is for "Rupertina", continue left and belay from the next anchor at the same hight (shared with "Synewel"). Pitch 5 traverses further left, continues up and then cuts sharply right (again past an anchor for "Synewel" further right). After the 7 pitch you can either continue up straight for 2 pitches of enjoyable climbing ("Pichlerausstieg") or traverse right past another anocher for "Synewel" to a steep dihedral (original exit, not often done anymore since the rock is already somewhat polished).

Location Suggest change

From the Rote Wand parking lot head left and follow a graveld road towards the wall. At the first turn leave the graveled road to the right and follow a clear visible, steep trail until you hit the wall. Turn right and straight at the first fork. At the second fork head left and you will hit the wall a little bit before Serengeti. Follow up a ramp past the base of serengeti and then Rupertina. The route starts at an obvious reddish incut and the first pitch traversis to the left. "Erdgeisterweg" is spray painted on the rock.
