FA: Daniel Quick, February 2020
Missouri > CM: Devils Elbow > Approach Trail Wall

Description

Suggested to stick clip the first bolt. Start just on a good crimp and pinch just below the first clip. Move up to the crux, pull the sloping slide pull and work left to the cave feature left of the second bolt. There is a bomber chock stone in the top of the cave. Muscle past the cave to the gully. A 2 bolt anchor is high in the right face of the gully.

This route seeps groundwater following rain, beware of slimy jugs near the start and in the cave. Terrible when wet, fantastic when dry.

Location

Follow the approach trail towards the amphitheater stopping before the switch backs end at a small climb. This route is in the overhanging section of the approach wall to the right of the wet chimney.

Protection

4 bolts, 2 bolt anchor w/ Quicklinks
