Description Suggest change

The main/most popular Sam's Knob Climb.

Park in the pull out (2-3 car) 3.7 miles north of the NC 215/Blue Ridge Parkway intersection. Walk north on 215 for approximately 100 yards and then head up into the woods past the obvious drainage.  Continue upwards paralleling the drainage on its left. After about 20 minutes cross to the right side of the drainage at an obvious clear/flat spot. Continue up the right side. The route begins in the drainage once conditions permit.

If there are numerous parties on this route, please consider WALKING OFF on the climber's right side, it is steep but very doable and much much quicker than rapping
