Gaston with left hand and place feet carefully and one or two moves you are on the top.

Approach is from the standard North Fork of the Sauk river, same as that for Glacier Peak. It’s about 8 miles.

The boulder is west of what remains of White Chuck Glacier, pretty visible from the trail, and distinct with very flat top. There is a small area for a tent directly at the base of the rock.
