Description Suggest change

Bridal Veil Falls is one of the area's moderate classics. Park on Miner's Castle Road where plowing stops. Don't make the mistake of thinking you can drive down the road (it is a snowmobile trail in the winter and chances are you will be stuck. Wilderness towing isn't cheap). Ski the few miles to east end of Miner's fall beach. Start hiking north country trail. You will head up hill past Potato Patch Falls. Keep walking along rim past the "the Rim" wall. Bridal Veil falls is an actual river so you shouldn't have a hard time knowing when you are on the top. Bring a fair amount of static rope/webbing for a top belay. The first 90 feet of the route is low angle. The top 30-40 feet is steeper. Depending on the year, and how the wind and cold were working in conjunction, you can get some pretty crazy umbrellas towards the top.
