Escape the Cave

V1, Boulder, 22 ft (7 m),  Avg: 2.6 from 5 votes
FA: Will S, Dec 2019
Connecticut > CT Bouldering > Mianus Park > Old Mill Lane Boulder…

Description

Two cruxes: the first couple of moves are tricky and then getting over the bulge can be a bit tricky. Start nice and dry inside the concave, clean face and head to the side, then up and over the lip. Route details on the pictures.

Location

This "boulder" (more of a small, exposed ridge) is a five minute walk uphill (NW of the Old Mill Ln entrance). One of the mountain biking trails (not sure the names) goes right past it.

The start is marked on the pictures... two hands on the lowest shelf, feet to the left. Finish is just the top of the rock.

[Hide Comment] This is a fun climb but its a boulder problem, not TR! Slightly improved by starting with 2 hands on the under-cling just below where original poster marked starting hands. Mar 2, 2020
