Description

Best finger crack in the McDowells? You’ll know the feeling after climbing this lil beauty. Smooth granite feels like basalt but the typical McDowell granite face makes for some great jamming and movement. Don’t let this 5.9 spit you off it cause it’ll try.

Location

Bolder pile on turtle ridge about 2/3s the way up. You won’t see the crack till your right under it. (See photos) shade most of the day

Protection

Multiple finger size and thin hands. Hands for anchor. Walk off
