Access Issue: PLACING BOLTS IS ILLEGAL IN THE SUPERSTITION WILDERNESS! Details

Description

The crux is the beginning of the route as you climb the steep and shallow groove.  Takes small gear.  The upper chimney has gear if desired and can be protected with cams in pockets or you can run-it-out since it is good, secure feeling rock.  The original summit register awaits your visit.

Location

Just over 100 yards above the Superstition Curley formation or a 10-12 minute walk uphill from Nosepicker Pinnacle.  Easily identified by split/chimney for second half of route.

Protection

Standard rack up to #4
