In the early '90's the USFS banned all placement of bolts in the Superstition Wilderness. This unfortunately includes replacement of existing bolts. Violating this ban may result in climbing restrictions on this beautiful area. Please think twice and go bolt somewhere else.
Description
The crux is the beginning of the route as you climb the steep and shallow groove. Takes small gear. The upper chimney has gear if desired and can be protected with cams in pockets or you can run-it-out since it is good, secure feeling rock. The original summit register awaits your visit.
