Description

A climb with varied moves and a phenomenal view of the nearby valley. Starts with easier climbing but suddenly feels exposed after you cross over to the left side of the arete at the second bolt and the ground drops away.

Location

First route from the left on the right wall.

Two bolts up, you reach a ridge and cross onto the opposite face, climbing above the anchor of Condorito on the Outer Wall.

Refer to the map mentioned on the area page under the "Getting There" section.

Protection

10 bolts to bolted chain anchor. When being lowered, make sure you follow the route down so you don't end up on the Outer Wall side without enough rope to reach the ground!

The start to Barlovento. Follow easy climbing up and around the opposite side of the arete. The first bolt can easily (safely) be skipped to reduce drag.

[Hide Comment] This barely worked with a 40m rope. We skipped the first bolt (to the left in the super-easy section) to minimize drag. Dec 28, 2019
