Description

Very good face climbing.

Location

The route is in the small sector, 5 minutes away from the arch. Short walk from the zip-line launch or steep walk up from the nice camping field on the other side of the river (across the hanging bridge).
From the zip-line launch continue along the fence and into the forest until you see a trail going down. Hike down and take the frist left to reach the cliff.

Protection

Well bolted.

[Hide Comment] Definitely worth the walk out here, especially if the arch is crowded or annoying with tourists. Zero crowds and noise out here! The route is short but solid/hard 5.10 the entire way, with a cryptic crux midway I'd call 11a and another punchy crux at the top I'd call 10d. The 10 to the left is worth doing, too, to warm up for this. Highly recommended. Mar 9, 2020
[Hide Comment] The person who bolted this this route graded it a 5.11d or 5.12a. I would definitely not say its a 5.10! just to warn anyone that is going to try this! Jun 28, 2020

This route was bolted in 2011 from J. Gordillo, A. Aldama, J. Aldama and J. Gordillo, and they graded it with 5.11b+. I downgraded this to 5.10d due to the opinion of many experienced climbers and also because of my personal experience. To grade it as a 5.12a has nothing do to with the reality and would be insulting for all the climbers who really try hard to climb 5.12 and not just predent to climb this grade by overgrading or exaggerating.
