Bell's Mono

Description

All the action is in the first two bolts, with a V4ish boulder problem starting right off the ground. There is a roughly 15mm hole drilled in the wall halfway between the first and second bolt, that provides the key mono. Above the second bolt is pleasant 5.9ish slabby climbing to the anchors. Shares anchor with Railton Road, so easy to TR after leading that route.

According to the FA:

"There used to be a metal box conduit on this line, enclosing cable leading to a base station on the hydro tower above the cliff. There are remnants of the conduit retaining bolts in places."

Location

Starts on top of two, meter wide flakes on the ground right below where they fell off the wall. A few meters right of the chimney.

Protection

10 bolts to chains
