Trails close at sunset. Give yourself enough time to be back at your vehicle (or campsite if you're staying at one) before dark, or the rangers will fine you.

Description

Inventive climbing and use of the arete are key to finding your way up this route's obvious early crux. Do it!

Also, if this route has been done prior -- I would love to credit those responsible. If not, snag the first lead ascent if you dare!

Edit- Traverse onto the *lowest* part of the face once standing in the crack; therein, forgo use of the opposing wall.

Fun alternate start to one of the best climbs at Last Temptation. It felt more like a tougher 11 move to me, but being pumped made the rest of the climb that much more interesting. Nice idea! Nov 9, 2019

Hey Mike,

I could see this going at 5.11c/d if you pull onto the face with the first bolt at your torso. I started the route with the first bolt just over head. Dec 16, 2019
