"Finding joy in the adventure." Mother Road features steep and thin crack jamming, face climbing, and heroic headwall finish.

Begin from a small dirt ledge next to shade bush. Thoughtful entry moves above a black bolt and thin gear lead to wide compression moves and a nice stance on the right arete under a bolt. Traverse back left into the crack system and up through the crux (11+/12-). Step left and climb gingerly over some dubious though solid large flakes and negotiate the awesome headwall sequence.

MR hides on the far west end of the Tralfamadore Area. Walk just past the top of Lost Highway, before the rim is choked by brush and a large juniper bush. A lone pine tree is set back 8ft from its top-out.

Top anchor: 1 bolt, 2 RB holes, and slung knob. Please do not anchor to the tree.
Bottom belay is #0.3C4 - #0.75C4.
Rack: 4 bolts, nuts micro-large, double set micro-cams, and one each of cams #0.3-#0.75C4. A few sweet spots for offset mastercams or equivalent (optional).
