Start technical moves in the crack/seam (harder, optional thin pro) or right of the crack/seam (slightly easier) and work your way to the first bolt (note empty bolt hole below). Follow the bolts straight up on easier ground to the base of the lip/roof. Clip the bolt under the roof (watch rope drag), then head straight up on physical but solid holds and horizontal cracks. It would be good to clip the bolt over the lip before committing to the exit moves (crux). It is possible to bail on the crux and move out to the left underneath the lip/roof and move back right to clip the last bolt and anchor afterwards.
Toward the center right of Olduvai Rock is a stand of trees. The start of Waffles And Fried Chicken is shaded by these trees. Look for a line of bolts that starts just up and slightly left from a right trending diagonal crack/seam. and heads toward a prominent lip/roof.
