Please be aware of the annual raptor seasonal closures!

The two areas Jefferson County Open Space intends to close in Clear Creek Canyon, shown on the attached maps, encompass the active eagle nests. If the Clear Creek eagles continue to nest in the active nests, these areas will remain closed from February 1 through July 31. If the eagles choose different nesting sites, the closures will be adjusted accordingly to protect those eagles during their breeding season.
Currently, rock climbing areas that fall inside of the seasonal raptor closures include:
Blonde Formation
Bumbling Stock
Evil Area
Ghost Crag
Highlander
Skinny Legs
Stumbling Block
Tetanus Garden
Fault Caves

Description
This climb goes up a crack systems right of Ugoogoly in a right-facing dihedral. You can start low on easy terrain or on a ledge higher up by The Walking Dead and Back from the Dead. The higher ledge start seems better. The crux seems to be at the top of the dihedral before you move left onto a big ledge below a crack which is the rest of the route. There is some loose crumbly rock on the route, but the protection is good, and the upper crack is fun.
Location
This route starts to the right of Ugoogoly and to the left of the two higher 5.12s. The right-facing dihedral is obvious.
