Description Suggest change

Climb the slanting crack; when it vanishes, keep moving right and up on crimps. Jim Thornburg's Bay Area Rock guidebook describes a "spooky mantle below the lip", but I didn't find it.

Location Suggest change

Left side of the split, just inside the mouth.

Protection Suggest change

Toperope anchor. Can use slings through the drilled holes in the rock above the finish, or build an anchor using gear.
