The City of Anacortes continues to work to maintain local access to its parks and forest lands. We are asking our user groups to practice all pandemic social distancing protocol. Please observe our trailhead parking limitations, which includes a 10 vehicle limit at the 247 Trailhead at the base of Mt. Erie. The summit road is currently closed to vehicles. Thank you for your patience and understanding. May, 2020
Description
Climb the first bolted line to the left of "Sunshine on a Dark Day".
4 bolts & a hand sized cam or two depending on your comfort level at this grade.
*Currently there are old rusted bolts sticking out of the rock at the start, use extreme caution until these are chopped as you'll get sliced up*
*Anchors do not have chains or rings but you can climb up and left to the top of Laus Deo and rap or lower off those chains*
This is a cool route and the whole area would benefit from a rap station placed here or on top of the right side of the buttress, incase anybody is feeling generous.
There's also a short leadable v-slot chimney that could turn this into a cool link up to get to the top of the buttress.
