Description Suggest change

From the belay ledge, clip the first bolt before traversing left into immediate exposure. Difficulty gradually increases as you enjoy face climbing around a protection ready seam. Surmount a pillar via a final hard move at the top of the system, then move slightly right to an overhanging, but moderate crack finish.

Location Suggest change

A large dead pine tree stands atop the center of the Hobel Wall. Easily viewed from across the canyon, Highboy lies on the right side of the wall, a few breaks (climbers) right of the dead pine. Once above the Hobel Wall, rappel off of any of the sturdy conifers atop the rim, tossing your rap line several feet left of the dead pine, over a series of small landings before the edge. Abseil to a nice ledge with enough room for a few small people.

Protection Suggest change

One quickdraw and a double set of C3s, excluding the little grays, a #.3 and optional small nuts. A single bolt anchor can be backed up with an additional #.3 at a good ledge.
