Description

This has easy slab to fun chimney climbing; squirm or stem to steep laybacking. This pitch allows you to use a variety of techniques and climbs to the top of the cliff in this section.

An airy finish adds to the fun!

Location

Start the same as Hold The Line. Climb the slab, and clip a fixed draw in the chimney, then fire up the chimney. Stem it, grovel it, your call, but fun movement leads to a quick, pumpy, layback move onto a big stance on the left. You are standing just above the Hold the Line anchors now.

Stand up to some undercling moves, and then layback past 3 more bolts to the anchor.

Protection

15 draws will get you through. There is a belay bolt on the ledge.
