Description

Slabby moves on smallish holds and water-droplets vertical pocket edge things. Lots of high small feet and such.

First bolt is a little high, but easy climbing to get there. Bolts are a little far, as is typical in the calanques, but not too bad.

Guidebook says it's almost a 30m rappel. We found it to me clearly no more than 25m, probably much closer to 20m.

A good intro to the area - if you don't enjoy the style of climbing on this route, you may not like most of the routes in this area.

Location

First route around the corner to the right from the face with the big roof. It's also about 5 steps from the trail, so expect lots of hikers to stop and watch. There's 3 bolted lines starting from basically this same spot - this is the left-most.

Protection

generously-spaced bolts toa 2-bolt anchor with probably enough to rappel off of.
