Description
Despite the apparent steepness, still only E1 5a!
Stellar route, one of the best of its grade in Britain, tackling the main corner of Mother Carey's Kitchen improbably up overhangs.
Abseil in an scramble over to the base of the large block at the corner where the overhanging wall of Zeppelin meets the vertical wall of Straight Gate. Clamber up onto the block however you wish and follow the corner and wall up to the first tier of roof, with an enjoyable rest before traversing out right under it. Head up to the next tier of roof but now tackle it directly up the crack. After surmounting this, head up and right around the remaining bulge to the top.
Gear anchor on rock outcrops, make sure to check your outcrops are solid.
