Stand start matched on the half-moon sidepull in the middle of the slab. Traverse left under the roof and around the corner to the arete above the pool. Top out up the arete.

At the top of the first hill past the gate, roughly 80 yards beyond the metal-roofed shed on the left, the boulder sits next to the creek down the steep embankment (the same side as the trail). It is mostly obscured by vegetation, but you can make out the top of it from the trail above. Stick to the areas where fishermen have already created rough paths down to the creek to avoid further erosion.
