Description

A tricky highstep from an easy slab leads into a finger crack in a corner that quickly steepens.
Pull around the lip and romp to the anchor, clipping a bolt on the way.

Location

Hanging LFC to the left of the obvious crack pair of Cragger/Trippy Squirrel.

Protection

Thin gear protects the crux moves. Hand-sized and a bolt after the corner.

[Hide Comment] The bottom of this climb is really fun but the top is lackluster. Much more fun if you link the bottom of Shimmering Crack with the upper finger crack on Man about the Park (just to the right, over the wide dirty corner). Trend off the right after pulling the bulge and take a 0.4 and 0.3 (or two) with you. One cam above the bulge extended with an alpine draw shouldn't create too much rope drag and keeps the follower from swinging too much. Apr 30, 2021

[Hide Comment] Tricky gear. You MUST extend the gear before the lip. Rope WILL get jammed in crack Jul 9, 2022
