Description Suggest change

Still a classic. This route gained ten additional feet of climbing, two bolts, and a 5.11 crux after the starting ledge fell off.

Starting on a flat block which is occasionally under water, negotiate a blank face past the first bolt to a good edge. This can be done by traversing in from the right, crimping straight up on small holds or with a jump start, all of which are difficult.

More difficult moves over a small roof (second bolt) lead to a rest. From here, traverse left above the lip of the roof and climb the longest, best 5.10 face in Flatrock past many bolts.

Location Suggest change

This route starts just right of the huge aid roof

Protection Suggest change

11-13 bolts, lower-off anchor. 60m rope reaches the ground, but knot your ends. Stick clip recommended for first bolt
