Description

A very popular long moderate which splits after two pitches.  The guides tend to take the left path.  This description is for the right path.

P1 - Easy steps - belays on both right and left.
P2 - More WI3.  Belay from trees (on the left if finishing the climb to the left, on the right if to the right).
P3 - Snow transition
P4 - Steeper wall, but not too sustained
P5 - Easy steps between snow
P6 - Another short, steeper wall
P7 - Snow
P8 - Final steeper wall.

Descend via the trail which crosses atop all the climbs.  Descend skier's left.

Location

From the lift parking lot, cross the bridge and then look for a climber's approach path up from the cross-country ski run. Follow the path mostly up (to climber's right is the descent and too far climber's left leads to Sombre Heroes (WI5).

Protection

Screws. In situ anchors.
