Lesson's Over

Colorado > Boulder > Flagstaff > Tutorial Rock

This is an eliminate with a sit-down start. According to Chip Phillips's on-line guide: "start left of the crack matched on a brick. From slopers, make a big, left hand move to a sharp sloper, then pull again to the lip and over. The incut corner hold up and left from the start is off."

It has a fun big move that didn't seem bad for the grade once I figured out the best left foot. This loses a star for being contrived.

On the left side of Tutorial Rock, start just left of the obvious, dirty crack that splits the rock.

A pad & spotter are nice though not necessary as the problem is low to the ground.

[Hide Comment] I don't think there's a brick anymore, and it's not a sit start. Maybe this is how it goes?

Start on a good, L-shaped hold. Make a long move up to a slopey crimp, then finish to the top using other crimp(s) as needed. The incut corner hold up and left is still off. Jul 26, 2020
