Description

This is the the Cats Meow!  Using a triangular block 5' up, climb into a pod to gain the Splitter Finger Crack.  Battle through rattly fingers (crux) until the crack widens to tight hands and slippery feet.  Pumpy and sustained.

Location

From the top of the cliff, (you may want to brush up some foot holds first):  Hike to the old fire tower foundation on Cat Mt. Simply look south from the fire tower you will see another ledge with a viewing area (you may be able to see the crack from here)(Photo Available). Continue on the trail to get to this other "cliff top viewing area".  You don't have to venture  very close to the edge before you realize that you are standing on the fantastic crack.  Catatonic splits the cliff top as if struck by lightning!  Build an anchor and rap in.  #3 BD is helpful for the anchor, however you do not need it for the climb.

Eats Pro!

Singles rack to #.4 BD and stoppers, 4each: #.5-#.75 BD, 3each: #1 BD, and 2each: #2 BD
