Description

Start up the ramp towards the Rough Rider Terrace ledge following the rightmost bolt line. Climb through a steep section with pockets that leads to a stretch of cool sidepulls/laybacking. Ease onto lower angle terrain and enjoy the climbing through nice blue stone covered in tiny sea shells.

Location

Rightmost route on Cowtown Buttress (far left side of Rough Rider Wall). Starts up the ramp that leads to the left side of the Rough Rider Terrace ledge.

AMAZING ROUTE!!! A great test piece for the grade in the area. Once you’ve done all the area’s 5.11s and 12s, this will finally feel like a 10a. And once you’re able to summit this, you will be ready to try a 5.10b, then 10c, then 5.11 and so on till you get to 5.12 and then you’ll be ready for this to feel like a 5.10a again.
