El Wampo In itself is a classic climb for the grade. As an ice and mixed route it is one of the best I have done at Tahquitz. The first two pitches  of this route can be almost pure water ice.  With a decently thick variglass entrance into the hand crack pitch one will be rewarded with perfect blue ice up the entirety of this pitch making it one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.
Amazing 5.7 handcrack filled with amazing blue ice, who could ask for more!

El Wampo and end atop hand crack pitch 2. Rap down and TR this unique pitch from pitch 1 belay ledge.
