This area is closed to the public from December 15 to July 31 to protect nesting birds of prey. There is a full 1/2 mile closure that encircles the entire cliff with these routes. Access is closed to all activity and entry from the Davis Meadow Trail. This closure is monitored and strictly enforced.
For more information on current closures and wildlife in the area, please contact the wildlife biologist at the Salida Ranger District. Do not climb in an area if there is a nest present. No bolted routes are allowed near or through nest ledges or any species nest. If you encounter a nest while climbing, stop climbing and report the raptor and other nests to the appropriate land management agency.
