Incredible, steep climbing on tufas and stalactites. Kneebars will be critical to your success if this grade is anywhere near your limit. Clipping the chains is hard, and probably the redpoint crux.

Scramble up the weird mushroom-tufa slab to an alcove. From the alcove, step right and then launch straight up into the steepness, traversing left once you get to the roof.


look for the dark, mushroomy-tufa slab on the right side of the grotta. There are two bolt lines on it, the left one is the start to Elefantenhimmel, the right one is technically the first few bolts of this climb, but really just make your way up the slab however you want to. The real climbing starts when you leave the alcove above the slab.


Fixed draws through the roof. Bring your own for the first 7 or so bolts.
