Description

Puls 2000 is of the best routes on the China Mauer, but is often wet.

Start up a vertical crack/pocket system, clipping two bolts. Go left out the steep wall, with a slopey crux at the second bolt. Make big moves between jugs for a few bolts until you come to a good shakeout. Take your time here, and fire straight up between well-spaced holds on the less steep but still pumpy headwall.

If you break right at the good shakeout to the anchor, it's a 12b called waterfront. Though, with that stiff, slopey crux it's a tirolean 12b for sure.

Resting over next to the anchors for waterfront is possible, but can you look at yourself in the mirror afterwards?

Location

3rd line of bolts from the right side of the wall. Name is written on the wall. Usually all draws are fixed except for the first two.
