Description

This is route number 3 in the Klosof guide for Terrapin: "Climb up past bolts from top of notch looking for line of bolts leading right. Follow bolts up & right to same anchor as Touch of Gray. 8+ quick draws plus anchor."  The lower half of this shares bolts with "Touch of Gray." This climb is almost 40m and you will need an 80m rope to climb and lower from the top.

The first 3 Terrapin routes (Ripples, Touch of Gray, Fade Away) start from the same 1st bolt.

[Hide Comment] This climb is 40 m long. Touch of Gray is only slightly more direct but is still longer than 35 m. Two ropes or an 80 m rope are needed to lower off and rappel. Fade Away is probably more like 10b or 10c. And sustained. Great climb, for sure, but don’t expect a gimme 10a. Jul 24, 2022
