Access Issue: Help Keep This Area Open Details
Climbing and bouldering is currently allowed in the Tri-Valley wildlife area. However, it is suspected that there will be a proposed ban to climbing in the future. Please minimize your impact and practice LNT ethics. Make sure to follow the Ohio Climbers Coalition for future updates on access and what you can do to help. Also, be very careful during hunting seasons and be sure to wear hunting orange during these times.
Middle line up the Big Tex bloc. Have your wits together as you pull over the mantle and onto the ramp.
Start from Lil’ Tex pockets, trend up and right trough the vast amount of jugs to great mantle (mantle is just right of center bloc/just left of the tree). Once on top of the mantle, trend back left up the ramp. Crimps. Slopers. Scaries.
