Traverses Are For Losers

V3, Boulder, 12 ft (4 m),  Avg: 1.6 from 9 votes
FA: unknown
Colorado > Ouray Vicinity… > Ridgway SP > One-Of-A-Kind Boulder

Description

Sit start on two half-pad-ish crimps beneath and to the right of the bulge that acts as the top out for Pads are for Losers. Move straight up then just a little over the bulge out left, utilizing the juggy rail on the upper right corner of the bulge, directly above the deep sort-of triangular cavity. I had to do an awkward mantel thing to top this out, but I'm sure better beta is out there. If this is already a problem that's been given a name and you know about it, shoot me a PM!

A pad for the top out is nice but not necessary.

[Hide Comment] You can also start this from an even lower start by starting matched on a positive slot/rail down and left of the start described above. My girlfriend (who is 5'1") quite enjoyed this start, though I found it to be very bunchy and awkward. It's probably in the V4/5 range. Jun 22, 2022
