Description

Beautiful overhanging face visible from front porch. Start just right of center standing with your feet in the sand and hands on good right-facing holds, tops out just right of highest point. Great movement all the way to the top on incut holds. Would be a bold solo.
We dropped a rope over it .

I assume this is a FA due to the yanked off holds on the first lap.
I personally think it’s one of the better blocks in Prescott, but what do I know .

Location

If you’re standing on the front porch and looking east , it will catch your eye.

Sits in the talus beneath Jump Back Jack

Protection

Two iron pockets offer the only pro to rig a toprope besides a dead scorched tree. A wonky but good .75 fits in the pocket at ground level (behind boulder) and an atomic #1 fits in the pocket on top of the boulder. A cord for equalizing and extending these is necessary.

A #1 fits beautifully in the pocket on the top of the boulder but we didn’t have one that day
